#BraveFutures is an intersectional film competition and program brought to you by award-winning streaming platform and media incubator Open Television (OTV), challenging filmmakers of all skill levels to create an entire short film in a constrained amount of time using their city as the canvas.

Since the programs launch in 2019, Brave Futures has empowered over 100 artists, across six countries and three continents to develop 24 intersectional short-films (3-7 minutes) exploring topics on gender, immigration, body-positivity, feminism, trans politics, race, sexuality, mental health and more.
