When struggling comedian Emma chooses to move to Chicago, she grapples with reconciling her decision with the six hours of distance between her and her girlfriend Liv back home. LDR follows Emma’s difficulties in fighting for her long-distance relationship with Liv, finding a new community, and pursuing her dream of acting in Chicago. Whether it be through 2 AM drunk calls or finding friends in improv comedy, Emma’s desperate to thrive in her new life and keep the romance alive.
