MOST JOYFUL FILM AWARD | LONDON 2022
"I Am the Impossible" created by Tulsi Behl, Brendan Harvey, Recel Wynsley Tonelada, Catalina Curbishley, Rebecca Chan and Atom Inions Morton
An experimental film takes a dancer on a journey of self-discovery and acceptance. Using an original remixed version of an offensive song about being of mixed heritage, the dancer reappropriates the term 'half-caste' and makes her stamp on London. She dances through iconic London spaces slowly gaining her identity. She is the impossible. She is here and she exists.
