This Film / Portrait series explores the imagined self—who we believe we are, who we are allowed to be, and who we become when moving through environments not designed for us. Through photographs and moving images staged in liminal spaces an autistic subject appears in carefully constructed moments of self-presentation. Fashion and styling become tools of authorship: a way to articulate identity, autonomy, and interior truth; become backdrops where the authentic self emerges in quiet defiance.
