In a dark, windowless room, three telemarketers begin another workday tethered to their headsets under the command of a corporate, metrics-driven Big Brother. Their reward for exceeding yesterday’s quota is a harsher one: a dramatically higher sales target and eight relentless hours to meet it. As the machines speed up, their rehearsed cheer decays into desperation, and the line between performance and survival collapses. Every call becomes a plea. Every sale is hard-earned. When time runs out, the workers will learn the true cost of falling short in the rat race.
