Memory as Medicine is a short film about character development through a singular chamber piece. It follows a man discovering himself via repetition, exploration, and understanding his performance and storytelling process. The film shows him grappling and performing in ways with deeper meaning. Variations in speech—syntax, intonation, volume, rhythm, and intensity—reveal his character's arc and create new meaning for both him and the audience.
